Inspiring Homeopathy

Introduction

I have studied homeopathy for 30 years, practicing as a lay homeopath before doing my medical training (at 31 years). I have studied with Jacques Imberechts, Alex Jacques, George Vithoulkas and Alphons Geukens. I finished my medical studies in 1986 and have been teaching for 10 years in different European countries and the USA. I always believed that the therapeutic possibilities of homeopathy were used only to a very restricted extend and I sought for a deepening of this marvelous medicine. I noted a frequent phenomenon: the treatment starts well, but doesn't advance any more after one year or more and no remedy seems at any advantage. It gives you the impressions that there is no way to go deeper in the energy of your patient. Spoiled cases? No! About six years ago I found the solution to this problem, step by step, as an evidence showing up slowly out of my daily practice.

Without realizing myself at that time, the publication of my understanding of the mental picture of Cuprum metallicum based on 20 casus (Homeopathic Links 2/92) was a first step in that direction. I got two prizes for it: one from the Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis for the best article on homeopathy published in 1992 and second a first award in the category of Materia Medica from The National Board of Homeopathic Examiners USA.

At that time I was working a lot with Carcinosinum that is very close to Cuprum metallicum and I became aware of the need of a specific remedy following Carcinosinum to go still deeper in the human energy. The discovery of Saccharum officinale permitted me to make the next step to another important aspect of man, namely affection and love. Out of all these experiences grew the conviction that different aspects of the human being are layers and can be treated one after another. This gave me the key to the understanding of what Hahnemann had tried to explain by his theory of miasms, that until this day nobody really understood and is not really workable in practice.

In this regard a distinction has to be made between the individual layer with eventually sub-layers, caused by vaccination, allopathic drugging or important emotional afflictions, and the universal layers, treating lack of self-confidence, affective problems, incarnation problems, lack of boundaries, old traumas (victim problems), guilt (bully side) and duality, the last obstacle to our unification with our higher self our soul. In totality there are seven universal layers. At the individual layer everybody needs his individual remedy, but once arrived in the universal layers only a few remedies can be used. These remedies are: Carcinosinum, Carcinosinum cum Cuprum, Cuprum metallicum; Saccharum officinale; Lac maternum; Vernix caseosa; Rhus toxicodendron; Anacardium orientale; Hydrogenium. This aspect of universal layers, where the individuality of the patient seems to be lost, can be for the classical homeopath a big obstacle. But once the patient enters these universal layers practice proved to me that these remedies were the best ones to resolve their problems and to help them to evolve to deeper awareness and more stability in both physical and emotional, mental and spiritual health.

The picture of Carcinosinum (Carcinosinum, cancer, a deeper understanding) has been published in the Homoeopathic Links 1/98, the picture of Saccharum officinale has been published in the Homeopathic Links 3/95, "Saccharum officinale, the magic sugar". Lac maternum (Lac Maternum and Mother Earth) has been published in the Millennium issue of the Homeopathic Links.

An interesting result of all this work is that with this way of treatment the patient can be helped further after an initially successful start of the homeopathic treatment for some time (on the individual level). This treatment proved to be very successful when the first remedy is no longer effective. But what is even more interesting is that this way of homeopathic treatment goes really to the roots of mankind's suffering and is quite different from the classical homeopathic treatment, that's why I gave it a new name: Inspiring Homeopathy.
